My name is Jade Randall, and I am the founder of PlayCoach – a trauma informed, play-based service, supporting children, carers and professionals to build emotional safety, connection, and understanding through therapeutic play and reflective practice. I have over 20 years of experience working with children and families in roles including early years graduate lead, forest school leader, ESLA, SENCo, DSL, youth worker and Social Worker. I hold degrees in Social Work and Early Childhood Studies and am a qualified therapeutic play coach and life story work coach. I am also currently completing an MSc in Psychology (BPS accredited).
The approach at PlayCoach integrates insight from neuroscience, developmental psychology and trauma-informed care to help children make sense of their world, express emotions safely and strengthen their sense of identity and belonging – particularly for those who have experienced adversity and trauma, separation or care transitions.
